Google Desktop: We Shouldn’t Use It!

I had just tried out Google Desktop yesterday and I'm quite worried whether my personal information is safe to be indexed by Google Desktop. Now, I know it's not safe! Hackers can actually crack through IE to retrieve our personal information in Google Desktop! In this case, I understand that it's IE's fault. However, since this can happen, so I guess, there might be other flaws as well! Always becareful with your personal information.

Video Call with Skype 2.0 Beta

I've been using Skype 1.1 for quite some time, to chat with my sister studying abroad. Normally when we want to start our webcams, we'll have to launch other IM such as MSN Messenger to see each other. Just today, two of my friends who has just got themselves new webcams from a recent PC Fair, informed me that Skype 2.0 Beta supports video call. They were actually looking for video conferencing software to fully utilize their brand new webcam.

Google Desktop: Should We Use?

I have just installed Google Desktop for the very first time. It is really a great tool with lots of features in one single application. It has search (desktop and web), mail, news, photo, map, weather and much more. After installation, it began to index everything in my PC and my mailbox. All of sudden, I feel that my every single piece of information in my hard disk is going to be indexed by the application without restriction. Nobody knows what the application is going to do with my information.

Test Drive w.bloggar

I have been blogging for months. Maybe it's time for me to adopt a blog desktop tool to save my time from logging on and off my wordpress with the hope that I can have more time to focus on my contents. For this very first attempt, I go on w.bloggar, a freeware which has gained quite good reputation in the blogging world. This would be my first post with w.blogger. I'm going to look how this first post being published before I further talk on it.
