Security Fixes for Real Players

RealNetworks has released security patches for four flaws in its media player software. If you are using any of the following players, be sure you grab the latest software.
- Windows: RealPlayer 10
- Windows: RealOne Player v1 and v2
- Windows: RealPlayer 8
- Windows: RealPlayer Enterprise
- Windows: Rhapsody 3
- Mac: Mac RealPlayer 10
- Mac: Mac RealOne Player
- Linux: Linux RealPlayer 10
- Linux: Helix Player

On the other hand, if you are one of those people who hates Real players, you may try the Real Alternative codex provided by a reader of News.com. He claimed that the codex lets you play the file just as well as that “awful†RealPlayer.
