If you are quick enough yesterday, you may see that I was facing some problem to show PHP and HTML code correctly when I was posting "Show Your Recent WordPress Posts in SideBar". I tried a few methods, but the code still very messy. After a few minutes of trying, I found one way that works.

I've been showing 10 of my most recent posts in my sidebar for quite some time. Some of my friends around me asked me whether I did it with plugin or I wrote the code myself.

When I was browsing around forums, I came across this SEO (Search engine optimization) contest. All you have to do is to make a site to rank top in Google search with a set of given keywords (which will be announced on 15 Jan 2006). I would say that it's definitely a great chance to compare your SEO skill with other SEO experts.

After the great Google, here comes a new PR based search engine created by Shel Holtz. I see that the site is trying to compete with Google as they are providing a "compare this search engine to Google" link on the main page and also all the result pages.
I'm not good in search engine technologies and I don't know how well it would work but I'm sure his effort is definitely worth a look.
