Read Newsletters in Your RSS Reader

January 3rd, 2006

Newsletters are actually news that is being mailed to your mailbox. I see that it is really a good idea to read it in my RSS reader (I'm using Google Reader) instead of my inbox. If you are thinking the same way, I recommend you to try MailFeel.org.

The steps:

  1. Think of a unique name, the longer the better.
  2. Subscribe to newsletters using the-unique-name@mailfeed.org.
  3. Add http://mailfeed.org/rss2/the-unique-name to your RSS aggregator.
  4. Wait for the newsletters to appear on your RSS reader.

Warning: Aware that somebody else might be able to view the RSS that you create by accessing the same unique name. Try to use uncommon words.
