I thought it’s only been finalized on 3rd of December?

“Macromedia is now Adobe” – From Adobe homepage:
“On April 18, 2005 Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) announced a definitive agreement to acquire Macromedia (Nasdaq: MACR) in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $3.4 billion.”

Anyway, look at the bottom of macromedia homepage, they are using Google’s Search Engine as their internal search engine!
