Firefox 2 Alpha 1, code-named Bon Echo, is available for download at Mozilla. Please be aware that it’s only for developers or probably reviewers to test the product. It is expected to be delivered at the end of this year.
Notice the difference in the logo? The "BETA" at the bottom has left Google Desktop.
Just today, Google released the new version of Google Desktop 3. If you have been using Google Desktop, it's time to upgrade. It seems like Google has added lots of new features to this release.
Anyhow, that has nothing to do with me since I'm not happy to let Google Desktop index all my offline files. If you have any good points to change my view about Google Desktop, say it.
Remember I talked about Skype 2.0 beta not long ago? The program is already out of beta when I checked the site today. Go download it if you haven't.
I've been using Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 for quite a long time. The program had been prompting me to update it for months. I ignored it until today. I remember I ticked 3 components (without aware of what components are they) for update. It took not much time to download all the required files. After that, it prompted me to install the first component. Then, I was required to restart my PC. The same went to the second component. Luckily it didn't ask me to restart again for the third component!
Hey, Adobe, what's the matter with your updater? Do I really need to restart my PC twice to update my Acrobat Reader?
With only a USB thumb drive, you can do the following, at the any computer, without installation.
