My w.bloggar Experience
After I've published my first post on w.bloggar, I'm going to share the process of publishing my first post with the tool.
Basically, it looks like a simplified word editor. I began with a title and then proceed to write on the huge space. The default font size is quite small. I had to enlarge it.
After I'm done with my text, I look in the tools. I added some trackbacks links (e.g. to Blogtal) to the Advanced Post Options. I don't see there's anything to be customised after that so, I clicked on Post & Publish!
Quickly, I rush to my browser and look at my blog. The post is there. Then, I open Blogtal.com to see whether the trackback has been sent successfully. No, it's not there. Is there any trackback problem with it?
Suddenly, I realised that I didn't choose any Category for it. I don't recall that there's any option for me to do so. Back to w.bloggar and I found Category drop box right beside the Title. At that time, I was thinking, can I edit my posts from the tool? I guess a blogging tool would definitely be able to do that. And, I found that I can edit my post by simply choosing which post I want to edit.
After adding the trackback links again, I click on Post & Publish for the second time. The trackbacks were not being sent again.
I think I'll have to further experiment on other blogging tools before I nail myself on one of them. Do share with me if you have any good recommendation.
I'm not impressed with this tool.
